PC: no native codes
There is no PC build at launch, and GTA has never shipped console-style cheat codes on PC — mods fill that gap. See the PC status page.
How to enter it
- Load a single-player save — codes never work in GTA 6 Online.
- Type the whole sequence in one go. The input window is about five seconds from the first button; a pause resets it silently, which is why most “broken” codes are just slow fingers.
- Wait for the on-screen notification. No notification means the code did not register.
Caveats
- Trophies: blocked for the current session while the cheat is active.
- Online: unavailable — cheat codes are story-mode only.
Raise Wanted Level — quick answers
Does the Raise Wanted Level cheat disable trophies in GTA 6?
Yes — in GTA V any active cheat blocked achievements for that session, and GTA 6 is expected to follow the same rule. Reload the save (or restart the session) to clear the block before you go for trophies again.
Can you use the Raise Wanted Level cheat in GTA 6 Online?
No. Rockstar has never supported cheat codes in Online, and third-party tools that mimic them are bannable. This page is for single-player only.
What does the Raise Wanted Level code do?
Adds a star to your wanted level — the fastest way to start a proper chase.
